Doggie Walk Bags is a family owned company. Since 1988, we have been working to create the ideal bag for dog nuisance pick-up. In addition to our family, the Doggie Walk Bags team includes friends, neighbors, and developmentally challenged students and adults. Our Story:
From
its beginnings in a garage in 1988, to its headquarters today in Costa Mesa, California,
Doggie Walk Bags Company is family owned and operated. The Big Dog Is Chris Crosson, who graduated from
USC and had a successful corporate career with such companies as IBM, Lotus, and
Mass Mutual, before shedding his corporate tie for the blue bag. Today Doggie Walk Bags Company employs over 50 people and is internationally
known, but we still maintain our original vision of supporting the communities
we serve. Doggie Walk Bags is proud to be associated with Huntington Beach
Union High School District's Vocational Training Program and Westview Vocational
Services.
The
Vocational Training program at Huntington Beach Union High School District
strives
to give developmentally disabled students the chance to experience the
dignity
that comes from participating in life experiences that can lead to greater
independence.
Students arrive at Doggie Walk Bags with Job Coaches and are trained
to perform
various tasks including: folding bags, building boxes, packaging products,
and
operating production machines. Students are invited to work at Doggie Walk
Bags
full time, after High School graduation.
Westview
is a non-profit service agency dedicated to enriching the lives of people through
services designed to realize their potential. Their vision is "creating
a better world; one person at a time". The association is
mutually beneficial and rewarding, as our employees love working at Doggie
Walk Bags, and DWB is delighted with their efforts. Doggie Walk Bags is active
in numerous events such as parades, adoption clinics, dog jogs, therapy dogs,
special breed events, veterinarian
hospitals and care facilities.
We
happily donate Doggie Walk Bag Products to hundreds of special events each year.
Dog
Waste is messy, and an environmental problem that often leads to animosity towards
